I had a parent meeting with a student.  Not only was the principal there, but the vice-principal, an academic councilor, and another teacher. This is the same student from the prior quote.

Mr. Munoz: He has a planner and should be using it.  It’s perfect for taking down homework and for us (the parent) to communicate back and forth.

Parent (looking at the child): You lost your planner already, didn’t you?

Student: …… (shocked about the assumption – no words)
